To mark the third anniversary of the Russian full-scale invasion into Ukraine, the Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra performs Beethoven's Ninth Symphony at the Teatr Wielki in Warsaw. The orchestra was founded as a cultural counter-reaction to Russia's brutal invasion. Their Beethoven has the special feature that the text of Schiller's great freedom poem “Ode to Joy” is sung in Ukrainian.
